WALLETTE is a Brooklyn-based singer and songwriter whose music blends soulful intimacy with cinematic storytelling. Originally from North Carolina, her love affair with music began in a small-town church where she sang as a child, her voice rising above the pews with a mix of reverence and wonder. That spark soon led her to the world of musical theatre, where she discovered the power of performance to connect, move, and transform.
In 2016, she followed that calling to New York City, determined to carve her own path as an artist. Since then, her voice has found its way into unexpected places, from performing in the acclaimed Off-White runway show to lending ethereal vocals to Jil Sander’s global fragrance campaign. She has graced intimate stages across New York and performed internationally in cities such as Rome and Paris, sharing her music with audiences far from home while staying rooted in her humble beginnings.
Her debut EP, Trusting The Process (2020), was born from a fearless decision to create against the advice of others, a choice she calls the best she’s ever made. The record resonated deeply with listeners, affirming her belief in the magic of authenticity. In February 2023, she unveiled Time with her first solo set at Lou Lou NY, a performance that marked a new chapter in her artistry. In 2024, she released her most recent single, Keep On Loving You, in collaboration with Grammy-nominated pianist and composer Ray Angry, further expanding her sonic palette. She is also expanding her work into film, collaborating with acclaimed director Catherine Hardwicke on music for her upcoming feature, and contributing to a range of other projects creating original music for the screen.
Now, she is fully immersed in the making of her next project, an intimate yet expansive body of work that promises to capture the depth, elegance, and emotional honesty that define her sound. For her, every performance is an offering, every song a love letter to the moment, an intimate reminder that music has the power to hold us when words cannot.
